Founded by Brendan Stone in 2007, with material ranging from their folk/blues inspired debut single "Hit By a Train from New York City Blues" in 2013, to a full length album exploring the darker side of the human condition self titled "Blue Oaks” in 2017.

They released their first live single “Ghosts” with “Day of the Lords” in September of 2020, recorded live to reel to reel tape.

Blue Oaks has written and produced a wave of new singles at home during the pandemic shutdown late 2020 through 2023. The first of these singles “Light” being released 3/30/23, with the second single “Bloom” coming 4/24/24.
